We seem to have an ongoing problem with these validation emails. Lots of people complain about this. It happened to me when I made that dummy account for Carson Kressly.
Anyway, the latest person to cry for help is Sargon. Can one of the friendly Admins send him a new email? Or, if none of the friendly Admins are available, can Frank do it?
