Received this PM from saunders45. Lance, what's the back story?

Is there a special "mod rules" section of the board where the unwritten rules are? I'm being scolded by a mod for this post:

Even though said mod can't tell me where in the rules I crossed the line.

I specifically referenced the posted board rules and the updated rules/post here in a message to him, and nothing I said broke those rules. His response was "The fact that you don't see this crossing the line does not bode well for you."

In fact, the only other warnings (and the only ban) I have ever received in 7 years were from this particular mod only when in discussion with this specific poster. I would appreciate some clarification, because I really do enjoy this community.

As referenced in the "be excellent to each other" post pinned to the top of Husker Football, no threads are to be taken on tangents. Specifically, his post is full of personal references:

Literally missing the forest for the trees. You're so caught up in wanting to peg what we do into a single word, you don't see what's staring you in the face. We're a power running team from a variety of formations. Literally everything you said about beck talking about the evolution of offenses is a red herring.
He's no longer talking about the topic at hand, he's going off on polo personally. This is the reply to polo after polo replied to saunders' "That's such a load of bullsh#t" post.

saunders45 is very much in the thick of every argument, especially the ones we're trying to stop with the no-tangents warning. Rather than give he and NUpolo8 a warning under that policy, I tried to defuse the situation with a bit of levity:

Be Excellent

That elicited PMs from both saunders and polo asking, "What, did *I* do something?" Nobody else posting in that thread asked if they'd crossed the line. I told both the same thing - stop going off on tangents and just calm down.

I was trying to stay clear of their argument, but both of these gentlemen do so love to argue.
