The emails are just another channel for those Husker fans who choose to do so to "voice" their displeasure with the product Riley is producing.

But you dont get it, the real fans are happy about being a national laughing stock, but those who are upset with the Riley abyss are trolls whose lives lack meaning.

If we were the laughing stock and if anyone was happy with our season, your post would make sense. As it is.....not so much.

Every time someone voices displeasure with the current state of the program, they get shouted down by those who are seemingly gleeful about it.

I'll agree though, we May not be the laughing stock, we are officially irrelevant. No where on the national landscape, except for the bookies.

And the subject is relative to how the "chorus" believes and feels about something very passionate in their lives.....Husker football.

There's a notable difference between feeling both passionate and disappointed about Husker football this season, and composing unhinged rants demanding that the UNL Chancellor make you feel good about life again.

There's much less difference between these email rants and anonymous Comments sections posts about the Muslim Obama, the Vaccination Conspiracy and the Taylor Swift haterz.

I judge internet folks not by their passion, but by the quality of what they post.

Very few of the comments in the emails were over the top... maybe 1%... a VERY SMALL percentage...

People with an agenda to silence Nebraska fans have of course as always ignored the other 99% of the comments in the emails that were respectful. heart felt and informed.

Same game playing and misrepresenting of other peoples comments as usual with these people who's agenda is to silence Nebraska fans.
