The details of Frost's revised contract were released.
Starting October 2, 2022 (the day after NU plays Indiana) Frost's buyout drops in half from $15 million to $7.5 million.
Between January 1, 2010 and January 1, 2021 Nebraska spent $25.8 million on dead money; the second highest in the nation behind only Auburn. Both Pelini and Riley were fired within a year of extensions making the combined cost for those firings nearly $12.8 million.
Nebraska is currently constructing its approximate $155 million expansion of Memorial Stadium that will include a new football facility.
Frost's current record is 15-27.
