If thats true, then the fan base has radically changed since Pelini's tenure. There are many fans that think Solich shouldve never been fired despite a 7-7 season and some embarrassing loses. Pelini got 7 years despite 4 losses in every season. The circumstantial evidence points to Frost getting at least 7 years if hired. And if Frost were to accomplish what Harbaugh has so far, he'd be considered a conquering hero by many. Trouble in year 4? Nah. His results would have to be worse than Riley's and Callahan's.

Make no mistake: if there's a change, whomever is hired is going to be at the head of a full-on reclamation project. If it is Frost, he's going to need at least 3 full recruiting cycles to get the players he needs and trim the fat off the current roster.

Jim Harbaugh is not, at all, anywhere close to actually being on the hot seat. Most beat writers and informed fans expected Michigan to have a rough rebuilding year this season, and the 'grumblings' are vocal minority idiots.

One just has to face palm after reading some of the things posted in here.  Harbaugh being on the hot seat is about as realistic as TO lost the election for governor because he promoted Solich to head coach.  It's no wonder there's so much fake news out there.

I still don't think Frost is interested at this point.  If we want him, it will take a visit from Coach Osborne.

Ah, KFAB.  I haven't heard those initials in a long, long time.   My mom had KFAB on nearly all the time, and on Saturday afternoons we'd listen to NU football with play by play from Lyell Bremser,  R.I.P.    oh, the memories... (if I can only remember them now )
