oh it would be silly and a waste of time to try - you are correct.  However the new AD will be looking and deciding on more than just football over the next several months.

He is coming here.  He went from extreme adversity and took this program to the pinnacle.  He knows he will be viewed as a savior here as opposed to the next man up in UF or UCLA.  He knows he will be given the time here to do what he needs to do.  I have been one that has remained pretty grounded in not getting hopes up and being open minded to other candidates.  However, this is shaping up as a done deal.  I know that is a rather lofty statement, but I don't think it will be a question much longer.  He knows he will have an entire state and the Big Red Nation completely behind him and that is rather rare in today's college football climate.
