I don't know if it means anything or is relevant, but the listed owner on that plane is 'State of Nebraska,' which means university officials could use it in theory.

According to the link it's a Beechcraft Super King Air 350 (twin-turboprop) owned by the State of Nebraska.

That plane hasn’t left Lincoln in 4 months and took off 45 minutes after the Nebrasketball game.
