I've submitted a ticket to start the board migration. When I hear that it's ready to cut over, I'll put the board in offline mode and ask them to continue. Hopefully the board will come up correctly on the new server and we'll be in business.

Hopefully we'll see you on the other side.

Thank you for the update.

Unfortunately, we can not give you ETA when the migration of your websites will be started as the setup of your new Dedicated server is still ongoing. Once the setup of your new Dedicated server was completed, we will update you via this ticket and we will initiate the migration of your websites.

Would have been nice if I knew that had to build the server first.. sheesh. I could have put the ticket in yesterday

 
Yeah, I was guessing when they start talking about building a server that it might be a few days yet, if not longer. Would have been nice for them to let you know that.

 
I thought maybe they had some on standby or something. I should have asked.

Anyway, it doesn't look good for today. We may want to update the status so people know. I'll just execute the cutover when it's ready. Unless I am missing something we're not too sensitive on time, especially in the off season.

 
OK, so a day late. Not so bad.

We should be back in business in the front of the house. I have some stuff to do in the back of the house to mimic our previous configuration.

 
A huge shout-out to Alex and Dave! Alex discovered we were eligible for improved hardware - and at a better price! Dave shepharded the migration (and is completing some behind-the-curtain configuration. Thanks, guys!
