Very good read IMO, and I had no idea they are doing a time capsule on Spring Day. What would you put in there?

Also, there is a Devaney Statue under the East Stadium?

I won't be putting anything in the capsule, but if I were to, I would put a picture of Nebraska fans putting the "horns down" sign, just to make sure our disliking for Texass will be alive! Oh, and a clip of the .01 second being put back on the clock, just to reassure it will still be there lol.

Husker Nation Pavilion will be open 11am - 1pm, fans can drop off items for the 2062 Time Capsule in East Stadium - http://bit.ly/10vrmwf

He's asking if they will have finally put a Bobfather statue in by then.

I would put a red balloon in there and tailgating pics of happy people. Have to skip anything about us winning. It would be pretty depressing to be a gopher today if Minnesota had done this 50+ years ago.

I'd like to put a lot of my retirement savings in it. Not much interest, but I'd be protected from future taxes on it.

I know I'm putting some stuff in. Mom wants me to throw in one of here Liscence plates. "BIGRED1". I have an old red fishermans type hat that my uncle used to where. it had his business name on it and said "supports the Cornhuskers" He wore it to every game and everywhere else, even down the isle of his daughters funeral. He passed away a week before the 2001-02 Rose Bowl game. He had the unfortunate advantage of never experiencing any "tough times". I have that hat, and it's going in there. And I'll probably have my kids draw a picture or two. Maybe my 5 yr old son would be willing to throw in his little red football he got there a couple years ago when he got to go to his first game.

Call me a gomer, but I happen to like stuff like this.

Its nice of you to put some of those things in there. Especially your Grandfather's hat. In a way, a part of him will be at every game still, if you look at it that way.

Maybe we can find Lil Red and throw him in there, and show them what kind of mascot NOT to make :)
