Starting to wonder if Bo was right about him.
Maybe not if we finish 3-9 this season. If Eichorst is to be removed it won't be until Perlman's replacement has had a year under his belt.
Perlman will not fire this guy regardless of the record. Just stop.Maybe not if we finish 3-9 this season. If Eichorst is to be removed it won't be until Perlman's replacement has had a year under his belt.
It took him over a year to convince Riley to come coach here? Yeah, I'm throwing the BS flag on that one.He still had to make sure Riley would come here and be the Nice guy.if that is so obvious....why didn't he fire bo when bo dared him to fire him after that Iowa game?He was clearly Harv's hatchet man. Brought here to get rid of Bo. That's fairly obvious.Eichorst wanted to hire a coach as quickly as possible so he could put the Athletics Department back on autopilot before the Christmas party circuit was in full swing last year. He also has his eyes set on being the Wisconsin AD when Alvarez retires, so he's just marking time here...and Perleman is okay with that, so I believe nothing gets better until he Perleman leaves.
If I were to guess, my first two guesses are 1) incompetence and 2) he is everything that Bo said he was.so the pay raise and contract extension for bo were all part of an elaborate ruse to get mike here? Brilliant! He still had to make sure Riley would come here and be the Nice guy.if that is so obvious....why didn't he fire bo when bo dared him to fire him after that Iowa game?He was clearly Harv's hatchet man. The donors to this program have more influence over these matters than you seem to realize.Perlman will not fire this guy regardless of the record. Just stop.Maybe not if we finish 3-9 this season. If Eichorst is to be removed it won't be until Perlman's replacement has had a year under his belt.
Agreed. Look at Texas. Patterson was there a just under two yearsThe donors to this program have more influence over these matters than you seem to realize.Perlman will not fire this guy regardless of the record. followed by a mediocre hire, not looking good........poor judgement for sure.Eichorst's biggest mistake was giving Pelini a contract extension.
Perlman is months away from retirement. He isn't going to make any moves. And no donors will be able to force his hand. What would they do fire him? He's already gone. The donors to this program have more influence over these matters than you seem to realize.Perlman will not fire this guy regardless of the record. You have to extend the coach, common protocol. If you don't it will kill recruiting.followed by a mediocre hire, not looking good........poor judgement for sure.Eichorst's biggest mistake was giving Pelini a contract extension.
