SIGNED - CB Avery Anderson

Looks like a good start to getting the Blackshirts back to where they used to be. They started to show those signs the last half of the season, and if this next recruiting class keeps getting players like this, it should only get stronger. Good job by or coaching staff.

Finally a geographic win for the Huskers. Sounds like Avery's family planned on moving to Arizona when his dad retires, hence the ASU commitment. However, plans changed, and they decided to stay in Colorado. That made Avery rethink he commit and give a hard look at Nebraska.

I was a little worried that we might have to work to keep Anderson but it sounds like he and Lee have been working hard on peer-recruiting other Husker targets. Sounds like the four current commits are all communicating regularly.
