SIGNED CB Charles Jackson

Get down there as soon as you legally can BO.....seal the deal with this kid.... I am in favor of an early signing period. How many f'n years do we lose big time recruits in the last month. We rarely get em, but always lose them.

C'm Charles, be a BLACKSHIRT..... Look at the NFL and check out the CB's with NU ties and look at Prince and Dennard and Ciante....
I hear what you're sayin...but...

Brion Carnes, Corey Cooper in the last few weeks of the 2010 class? Ankrah, Burkhead, and Martin at the end of the 2009 class? Bo seems to always have a few late suprises...I'm hoping for a Todd Peat and a couple under the radar recruits to finish the class strong.

Unfortunately unlike the last couple years - we have ZERO momentum going into signing day. We played some of the worst football I've seen in year towards the end of the season. I'm sure it's having a negative impact on recruiting. I remember how much of a boost we got last year after the Big12 CG and dismantling of Arizona. Can't count on that this year.

CB Charles Jackson, 5-10, 175, 4.36 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Spring (Texas) Klein Collins said he’s committed to Nebraska but is keeping his options open and is looking at Arkansas and some Texas schools. Jackson, who played in the U.S. Army All American game on Saturday, roomed with Hog commitment Tevin Mitchel during the week of the game. He said Mitchel recruited him while they were in San Antonio.

Did you offer his mom a job too?

Hey Tevin!!!!! Have fun playing in that poreous secondary that is the Arkansas Razorbacks!!!! Dont drag CJ down with you.

I don't think we lose this one either.

He is still solid. Those statements were made as a backup plan in case LSU got Bo...but since that is no longer that threat we have nothing to worry about. He is :bigredn:

What was that? Terrelle Pryor (projected TE at the next level according to Kiper Jr.) just threw yet another TD pass through Arkansas's horrible secondary.

:troll: ...................... :bs:

I want this kid badly... He could push to see playing time right away. He will push Evans for the 2 deep spot next year (athletically)....just if he picks up the schemes. I hope he stays true to his word, and not let others sway him.

* Better yet, instead of having Mitchell trying to recruit him, maybe Charles should try to recruit others to join him at NU. Be a leader young man, not a follower...

BE A BLACKSHIRT. :bonesflag:

** See you soon Charles !!!!

Oh look, Washington just ran for another 270 yards against the "vaunted" Nebraska Defense.

Oh wow, yet another prospective Razorbacks basketball coach merely stepped off the plane and said "F**k this place. I'm outta here!"

Let's not get Dana Altman involved in this convo. I'm still a little sore on that subject. Sorry, I live in Omaha, so Im a Creighton basketball fan.

Anyways, CJ was on Big Red Wrapup tonight, so I don't think he is going anywhere. I will update when Im done watching on what he had to say.

Unfortunately that doesn't mean much. Sade was on BRWU too. Tevin might have been too but not sure. However, I think Jackson will be N.
