DE or TEWith a guy this tall, is the thought to move him to OT, or leave him at DE?
I was thinking TE. At 6-8 and 240 with his speed, that would be a force
Just read in the OWH that the plan for now is at DE. A lot of guys are really high on this kid's potential, apparently lots of upside.DE or TEWith a guy this tall, is the thought to move him to OT, or leave him at DE?
imo
Word also that ucla is sticking their nose in too.The interview I linked in post 4 has that quote. Neal had been getting attention from Oklahoma St and just got back from a visit this week. Okie St coaches down there were surprised Nebraska had not found him earlier.@Sean_Callahan: Back in February Jay Ball told me one coach said "you are going to get a lot of people coming to Central looking at this young man (Neal)."
Neal we rated as an 84 or a mid to low 3-star. He's more of a projection. Love his length. He's got a pretty good get-off and obviously with his frame he can develop into a really unique prospect. We had a chance to see him out at the NIke Camp over the weekend though and it's clear that he's not there yet. He's tall and skinny and a little bit uncoordinated right now. Will be fun to see what kind of a senior year he has. If he starts to organize his body a little bit, he could be a guy to take another look at in October.
