What a great kid! I think being a Husker would be his best choice, but where ever he plays he will make the most of it

The LJS is really trying to help the cause. This is like the third "personal story " article/blog they have written about him. I don't ever remember this many public interest stories about a non-committed recruit that's not from Nebraska.

welp, since we lost out on phillips, could this mean that we will throw all of our eggs in mr newell's basket? i know some say he might be a silent commit but until it is announced or hell really until he signs its just a guessing game. if he is a silent that might have played a part in phillips decision . either way this kid is a must.

Don't follow recruiting as much as most of you, but this kid is at the top of my list. I like these kids that know how to work on our DL/OL. Guys like Mike Shoff (still a little bitter), Crick, Pensick, Long, Choi, etc. I wouldn't be sad if every one of our OL/DL recruits came from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, SD, ND, and Wyoming. (slightly over-exaggerated, but you get the point)

I don't want to go into the details, but there were some measurables and frame concerns that we didn't like and we were privately hoping he chose Stanford.
