Being that he committed last spring, I would say coincidence.Played in a 3-man front in high school. Were we already recruiting for a switch to the 3-4 or just coincidence?
When do the other listings come out? The love obviously hasn't transferred to the others with a 420 national composite ranking.Big bump and now in top247. Comes in at 189.
I think scouts might have today? Not 100% sure though. I know Jameis was upgraded on Scout today. When do the other listings come out? The love obviously hasn't transferred to the others with a 420 national composite ranking.Big bump and now in top247. Comes in at 189.
Played in Oklahoma's largest class for football (6A)Just watched the film that Mike Schaefer posted. The 4 stars on 247 are warranted. I wonder if/when other services will follow suit.
Gets off the ball quick, shows great awareness in reading plays (screens, blocks, etc.). He played all across the defensive front in stances and standing. Flexibility and knowledge of the positions is going to be great going into our new defense. Most importantly it looks like he has a motor. He ran down runningbacks and quarterbacks all throughout the film.
I'm not sure the competition level he played in, but that was a great 4 minutes and 30 some seconds. Worth the watch.
I thought that was the case too. Looks like scout only goes up to 300 for ranking and he's the second unranked DT they have listed. Can't be too far off from 300-350 I'd assume based on that? Seems like a pretty large discrepancy between rating systems. 247 must not give their own system a lot of value if his 247 ranking is under 190 but yet his composite is still 420.I think scouts might have today? No worries!Apologies. I was looking at Watts who is the second unranked Defensive lineman. Thomas is way down on Scout's list.
