Does the tweet have to do with the Davis twins? Or just the fact that he is in Blue Springs?
Pretty sure this had to do with the hockey playoffs last night.Does the tweet have to do with the Davis twins? Or just the fact that he is in Blue Springs?
LinkBlue Springs juniors and twin brothers Khalil and Carlos Davis are often praised for their football talents — they have committed to Nebraska to play on the Cornhuskers’ defensive line — but they are far from one-dimensional athletes.
The Davis twins have dominated throwing events this season, including last weekend at the Missouri Class 4, District 7 meet. Khalil, who owns the top discus throw in the state this year, won the district competition with a toss of 190 feet, 8 inches, with Carlos placing second (181-3). After giving way to his brother in the discus, Carlos came back to win the shot put at districts. Khalil was third.
After picking up a district championship, the Blue Springs boys team is also a threat to win the Missouri Class 4, Sectional 4 meet.
