Actually committed about three weeks ago to the previous staff. Was a little concerned when Pelini was fired but already knew Riley and Bray before so Bray's visit sealed it.

Just decided about a week ago to enroll early so he can go through spring ball with the new staff.

I would guess they went back and looked at film and thought he fit more at RB. All signs here say LB'er though.

If Young had been working out for the NFL combine last year he would have has two, top 10 finishes based on his Nike SPARQ testing numbers (4.58/40-yard and 4.25/shuttle).

This is outstanding, welcome Dedrick! This kid is special. I had the opportunity to see him play live and was so impressed with him. He was all over the field. And I love that the Huskers are making some noise recruiting in AZ (and especially that the UofA didn't get him!). There's a lot of talent here, that's for sure.

We are still in his top group and the staff changes didn't hurt us

Nice. 247 doesn't show an offer from Oregon State but Rivals does. Bray was his recruiter there.
