Being from up around the West Point area, I've seen this kid play. He plays both sides of the ball and on special teams. This kid was double and triple teamed in the two games I watched him play. He's a very smart player, who seems to know where the ball is, and has a knack for being in the right places to make plays. For his size he's a tough SOB.

Played DE, OLB, and TE. He primarily plays DE.

Here's some of his numbers for his Senior year: 125 Tackles, 38 solo, 3 sacks, 2 fumble rec., 1 INT, 4 blocked punts.

Not bad numbers if he was getting double and triple teamed by most of the teams in their conference. I don't recall many DE's with those types of numbers in C2. I don't see any reason why he wasn't selected first or second team for C2 except for maybe some politics being played by coaches to get their players on. JMO but it does happen.

Thanks for the info. From the way it sounds this kid could end up being a good one. :thumbs

Haha, honestly, I smiled and thought to myself "Wow, I didn't even think CU was going after this guy." Without even thinking to myself you might be kidding.

I'm willing to give this kid a shot. He's a smart kid. His GPA and ACT scores show that. He has a lot to prove as many critics downgrade him because he had 0 stars. That will just be more fuel to his work ethic. I can't wait to see where this kid is in 3 years.

if there is one thing we need to recruit this year, it is speed.........
I agree Hunter. We seen it last season when the guys are really large, but they just can't move! I am all for the speed of the SEC defenses.

That's because we offered. If Notre Dame and Michigan offer he will be 3 stars. That's how it works. If a guy gets a ton of offers from big schools he gets more stars. If he gets more stars, he gets more offers. Anyway, I doubt Lemming or Crabtree will ever get to West Point so we will have to trust TO on this one.

Yeah, I completely agree. I don't know why everyone is so freaked out we are offering to this kid. He's huge and he was beating his entire kick coverage team down the field every time. I have a good feeling about this kid, if he plays LB or DE, he could be a monster. He looks decently quick and goes after the ball like a monster.

For what its worth, the ESPN guys like him. Have him as the #65 OLB. And the comments that I cant fully list say they think he will be a quality player.
