from what little i have seen of Baker, he strikes me as a classy kid. he won't pressure Robinson, he understands everyone has to make up their own mind. he might extol the virtues of playing for NU, but he will concentrate on making himself better and not trying to change the mind of others. he will turn out to be a leader at NU, very quickly.

 
Yeah Baker will end the recruiting year or whatever you want to call it as the #8 OVERALL Player!

Out of all the players that had been committed to us at one time Baker has ended up the best overall over any of them so luckily we held on to the best! I know it would have been nearly impossible to lose him, but still he's coming here and I think how good Baker alone makes our class is often over shadowed.

 
We need guys like Will Shields, Neil Smith, Grant Wistrom, etc., to start having kids like the Steinkuhler's, Ruud's and Mackovicka's have. :)

 
more accolades for Baker as an OL he's mentioned in two of the five categories(number one on both) by rivals' best of the best.

I dont see why he isn't in the most agile and best athlete, his forty time is 4.8, I know it isn't everything but he has everyone beat in that category at least

Patchan runs a 4.6 for what its worth. Not taking anything away from Baker, just saying there are faster guys at his position in the 40.

Baker is sitll a bad, bad, man-child!

It was great seeing Baker's name/picture this morning in the Parade Magazine's All American Football players. He was their top lineman of 2008. Did anyone else see this?
