An offer to this guy doesn't really surprise me... Looks like a diamond in the rough type of find late in the game. Would make extra sense if Price does indeed transfer out eventually. This guy would essentially take his spot on the 85.

Interesting that some on this board are all for walk-ons but not "plan b's." If you think a walk-on can compete for a starting job why can't a scholarshipped division one athlete?

Holy Jesus, 6'5" 270...you know after he redshirts he'll be coming in as a RFr at 6'5" 315-320 with a ton of athleticism and agility and 4 years to work with. I like alot about this kid.

I would really love this, because 6'5" 300+ is in the mold for the next Suh or Crick, but just imagine for a moment bookend tackles with Whitaker and Peat plus Rodriguez at guard a couple years down the line.

Arod is already a junior so not really all that young any longer. I think he could stand to lose a few pounds.... wasn't really all that impressed with him out in space this year.

I agree about Peat for sure. Id be surprised if he wasn't starting next year. Whit may end up playing tackle but I guess I feel he's so athletic that he may be better off at guard. Kind of frightening to think of someone that big and fast coming around the edge....

Agree! Moore is going to be a stud and I guarantee he's anchoring our O-line. If we get Peat we're set at both tackle positions for the next 3 years.
