was looking for this. this is a very odd recruitment IMO. Not only his he a solid committ (I use that term loosely) to Indianna but (just going off reported stats here) ...too slow to be a receiver, to small to be a DE, too slow/tall to be much of an OLB. If he can add 20-30 pounds maybe a TE or a weakside DE? Can't really imagine him putting on enough weight to move over to strong side.

please don't respond with the following: "if he can play who cares about how tall he is" or "i trust the coaches" or "rivals stats are never accurate", etc. you've gotta admit this kid is outside of all "normal" conditions as far as the DE/OLB/WR positions go.
If you don't want those answers, don't ask questions which they answer.

Anybody remember when Helu was a recruit? Lots of people questioning his offer and saying he'd be a LB and never see any time at RB. He now holds the single game rushing record. Recruiting isn't a science.

This guy sucks why in the heck are we recruiting this bum.
Despite what RenDenver says, I trust our coaches. I don't know why eveyone is hating on this guy so much. His frame is very similar to Sean Fisher...he seems to work well at linebacker.

I would have to agree somewhat. There are bigger and better fish in the sea. Look its the 2nd quarter and the staff is throwing a mail mary with this kid. I feel we should take a wait and see. Wait till the recruits see that Mack Brown is really a D-bag.

Ummm, I think we agree here. Not sure what you think I meant.
Apologies RedDenver, I meant to say despite what kchusker says.

No problem, I figured it was something like that.

More and more as Pelini has been here I have come with the opinion that he is among the Herb Brooks camp..."I'm not looking for the best players, I'm looking for the right ones". I think he's trying to continue to build a culture, and knows what type of players are going to continue to build on it.
