Signed - OT Matt Farniok

Visited today because they are going to watch his older brother in Oklahoma's spring game Saturday. Mom was with him today.

 
His brother Tom was a very good center for Iowa St before he got hurt. His brother Derek should have a good season this year at Oklahoma, but those two aren't as close as this kid in talent.

 
I hope Momma complains a lot about how long the drive is to Okie and how hard it is to make those longer trips and how much easier it is to get to Lincoln.

He's been a top target for the staff from day one, long before Smith even entered in the picture. They want Matt badly, as do I.

I know he has been. I more meant his importance has increased due to missing out on Smith, it would have been nice to get both of them...but we really need to get at least 1.
