Signed - OT Matt Farniok

I wonder if anyone with way too much time on their hands would be willing to do a chunk of research. What's the correlation between getting the last OV and enrolling at that school? If someone wants to put together a database I could run stats.

Well that's less than ideal... I've always gotten the impression that he was a true OT? No? I'm sick and tired of seeing Nebraska plagued with issues that come from sticking a lineman at OT because we have to have someone play OT (probably what we'll have to do you). Exhibit A - Sterup being a complete mess and then doing pretty well when we slid him into OG.

Don't know what it is, but for some reason I keep feeling less and less confident as we move closer to his decision date. I keep imagining him picking Iowa and my head exploding.

Yeah, I tought for a long time that he was a legit OT. Seems to have the size for it. But I've seen a couple things over the season that seemed to say some people are thinking he'll actually end up playing OG in college. I would think we would at least start him at OT (if we get him) but that does have me a little worried. Definitely still take him but we're not in bad shape at all at OG.

Does it go something like this?

He has visited Nebraska more than any other school. Said all along that the relationship with the coaches will be the deciding factor. I'm not worried.
