SIGNED QB Bubba Starling

According to Rivals staff this isn't true, they talked to Bubba's dad. He said he'd heard the rumor, but there was no truth and they aren't sure where it started.
damn rumors....... i guess people @ k-state need something to keep them interested in football.. besides their crappy team....

Do K-St fans think they have a shot with him? Because if he was going anywhere besides NU, I would say his #2 choice Dame would be the immediate front runner. I don't even remember hearing K-St mentioned with this dude besides the fact he is from Kansas.

The vast majority of KState fans are trolls and baiters. I would figure by now we would all know this instead of getting up in arms every time something like this starts.

Hi guys-

If you want to see Bubba in action, we're video streaming his game against a pretty good Bishop Miege squad Friday at 7. He'll also be on ESPNU in a few weeks against St. Thomas Aquinas.

I dont know, alot of baseball organizations dont like to deal with Scott Boras.
Eh. I'm going to go ahead and say it . . . Bubba Starling will be playing MLB next year.

Hope I'm wrong . . . but I'd give him less than a 10% chance of actually making it to NU.
I agree, just trying to maybe pump a little sunshine. I do know that Scott Boras isnt very well liked in the MLB though. But Carlfense you hit the nail on the head.

Nothing wrong with pumping sunshine . . . it helps to offset my perpetual pessimism. :cheers

One small glimmer of hope is that Cole Geritt was represented by the Scott Boras agency when he was drafted in the first round by the Yankees as a lifelong Yankee fan and he still went to UCLA.

yup, limits the number of clubs that will even consider him and pumps up the asking price for those that do. still not counting on him playing at NU, but this is a positive development. there's also the possibility that he could play for NU and in the minors in the summer. quite a few prospects have done this.
