We finally are back to disagreeing! Cross is big and strong. Lacks speed and anything finesse. He is a bowling ball and runs things over. Nothing wrong with that but I would take our other backs over him if it were up to me.

Cross' forte is definitely power (which I love) but he has ability to break bigger runs as well by using his power and subtle juke moves. Like this one:

Regardless, if Taylor and Newby both climb over him on the depth chart, it will be a great problem to have.

I think Taylor will have comparable power to Cross and could take over that big back role because he also has some decent speed. Cross would make a great FB or LB too, anywhere we can get him on the field.
