Aaron Williams can pretty much play every position, so we're not quite sure which position he'll fit into on the Starting 11, but we know we want him a part of it.
The starting running back…or maybe starting cornerback…starting safety? The senior form Carver High School in Atlanta has helped his team everywhere on the football field. It's that ability that has earned Williams the title of this week's #Team11 Athlete of the Week.
Williams has racked up 454 all-purpose yards this season and has four touchdowns. Don't forget his stats on the defensive side of the ball which include 104 total tackles and six tackles for a loss.
"He's always shown those athletic attributes to be a two-sided player," Carver head coach Darren Myles said.
Williams has been a starter since his freshman year, but he's been everything from a quarterback, to a running back, to a safety. His versatility mixed with leadership is what makes him a dream come true for a coach.
"He's a coach on the field," Myers said. "When they break out of the huddle, he's calling that formation. He doesn't have to look to the sideline and ask."
While we like to think that we here on #Team11 discover the top talent in metro Atlanta, we can't take all the credit on finding Williams. The University of Nebraska beat us to it and has already received a solid commit from the senior.
