I doubt that matters to a recruit. Amendola and Welker are household names. Riley does have two previous Biletnikoff winners (Hass '05, Cooks '13), and Leach only has one (Crabtree '07, Crabtree '08) although he won it twice.

My overall point was mostly concerning style of offense. Leach throws the ball 65 times per game, which is great for QBs and WRs. Nebraska is going through a transition from a zone-run oriented attack to what is presumably a more pro-style offense.

It was mostly directed at the guy dismissing Wazzu as a recruiting threat. Simply put, WRs are attracted to that offense and it's understandable why Lavan Alston is interested in them compared to our superior cache and history.

Agreed. The combination of Alston, Morgan and Snyder compliment the offensive scheme Riley & Co. want to install. Hopefully we land this kid.
