I don't want to definitively say yes or no, and I reserve the right to change my mind later based on results. It looks like he's going to be fired though. If you can't beat NIU at home when they play their backup QB, how are you going to beat Minnesota, Iowa or Northwestern, let alone the really good teams on the schedule.

Agreed, but Eichorst will be fired before Riley. Boosters, the BOR etc. won't let the guy that hired Mike Riley screw up another football hire.

Nebraska is set to make about 20-30 million more this season because they now get a full share of the BTN money. Cost ain't the issue.

We aren't paying Riley that much and are getting around a 30 million dollar bump in revenue this year with the Big Ten media contract.

Not necessarily.  Eichorst seems the type to fire a guy to save himself.  Whether or not it works is a different story.
