Site really slow?

Is HuskerBoard really slow for anyone else? Loading new topics is very slow, as is switching forums. Is this just me, or anyone else getting this?

 
I'm using FireFox. Often I click on a forum and it just haaaaaaaangs there waiting. Every once in a while it's pretty quick, but not often.

 
I just switched to Chrome recently because Firefox was being extremely slow everywhere for me. You might wanna download Chrome and try it out to see if it's any quicker for you.

 
I'm in a committed relationship with Adblock or I'd check it out. From what I understand the adblocking on Chrome is pretty grim, since that's how Google derives most of their revenue.

 
It's still very slow for me, I'm using I.E. and I have no option to change it. The mobile site is slower as well..............it's getting old with all of these problems.

 
Weird - I just now shut down Chrome and went back to IE 9. Moving just as quickly as Chrome, now.

Anyway, on another note and back to topic - I noticed that I no longer have to manually mark notifications of a PM as read. Once i read the message, the notification goes away. A very good change.

 
Yeah, it is a very cool change. I turned off notifications for PMs with the previous IPB very early on - it was really annoying.
