Spitting Controversy has been put to rest

if in fact Suh (or any player for that matter) did spit on Daniel then he should be punished. That sort of behavior is intolerable.

However, i do find it interesting that Daniel said it happened in the pregame (no camera/video evidence).

Secondly, when would these two players have been close enough for Suh (or whoever) to spit on him?

Thirdly, its also interesting that they accused arguably our best defensive player of the crime.

Fourth, in my mind, if someone spits on another person and there are other people witnessing this, how does that not start some sort of altercation. I mean these two schools are bitter rivals, and this sort of thing would more than likely ignite some sort of dispute.

To me, there a just too many fishy things about this for me to believe it happened without hard evidence. I'm not saying that every NU player is an angel but I find this hard to believe.
:clap You hit it right on the money. Thank god I'm not the only one to find this statement from Chase a little fishy.

suh needs to be on a short leash regardless.... i'm still disappointed with the 2 personal fouls in less than a minute. I hope the coaches sit down with him.... people are going to be going after him now trying to get him to loose his temper

This Tiger fan is glad the whole thing is over. Thank you Husker fans for being very hospitable to my friends and family who made the trip. Everyone had a great time interacting with Fans in red.

We have decided to make it a tradition to go to the game in Lincoln every two years.

Daniel was NEVER even near any of our players for the entire pre-game. I should know, I was in my seat an hour and 20 minutes prior to game time and never left my seat until the game was over. Daniel was at least 15 yards away from midfield when both teams were out there and then he moved down to the endzone after that. I call BULLSH!T on this one. This is the age of the internet and Chase probably just wants to see how many facebook and myspace friends he can rack up by having his name plastered all of the internet like some slut on Perez Hilton's website.

I hope we can get Pinkel on record denying or dismissing the incident; otherwise this will go down with the throat slash, "f'ing hillbillies", etc.. we don't need that, and we certainly don't need it with BO as head coach.

Pinkel already said in his big 12 teleconference that as far as Mizzou is concerned it is over with.

The difference between "spit-gate" and the throat slash/f-ing hillbilies incidents, is the latter was caught on tape/video. The former wasn't. It's merely conjecture at this point.

Dan F 30 is correct, As far are the MU camp is concerned, it is over....both teams need to concentrate on the next opponet.

"over with" does not mean mizzou is denying it happened. anyone have an exact quote?

Pelini is not denying it happened either. It says both coaches did not know about it at game time and when Pelini talked to Pinkel he said it "was a little gray" when it comes to who did it.
