Spring Game Visitor List

Story on Anthony Chickillo:

He backed out on the visit because he couldn't afford the flight to Lincoln. Please keep in mind that plane tickets aren't cheap these days, especially from Florida. He is now going to try and make it during the summer, so at least we will still be in his plans.

Some good news!:

Jalen Grimble is still 100% visiting for the spring game. It is also important to note that this is the ONLY spring game out of state that him and his parents will take in. This looks very promising on Nebraska's part!

Thanks for the update on Chickillo, makes me feel much better. And as everyone has said, getting Grimble here is huge. Go Big Bo wooing moms!

Great news for the Spring Game. Suh will be there.

This should bode well for the visitors. Especially the d-line recruits since they're big fans of Suh.

I'm also curious to know if any of our 2010 recruits will be at the game as well? I remember Heard and Carnes being on the fence about it awhile back. Either way, it'd be nice to see some of those guys there.

Updated per RIVALS -

Added:

QB - Tyson Broekemeier

OL - Will Sailors

LB - Cole Fisher

DB - Daniel Davie

DB - Travis Green

DT - Damond Parker

DT - Mike Shoff

DT - Ryan Wheeler

Removed:

OL - Christian Westerman

DT - Quincy Russell

Summary:

All of the players added are from Nebraska. It looks to be some great additions to the visitor list as these kids can provide valuable input to the visitors from outside the state.

Quincy Russell has committed to the University of Texas and is not taking any more trips.

Christian Westerman has prom and will reschedule for the summer or fall.

Thanks for the update huskernation20. :thumbs

I would love to see Westerman, Rasco and other big name recruits visit NU on 10/16/10. With the possibility of ESPN Game Day Live being here that weekend, the atmosphere in Lincoln is gonna be BANANAS!!! With all the build up and publicity heading into that game, there would be no better time to try and sell NU to potential recruits than on 10/16/10.

Here's hoping the staff contacts their high priority recruits to schedule Official Visits, ASAP. There will be no bigger stage than Memorial Stadium that weekend, so it'd be a no-brainer to have them experience the livest crowd in the biggest game of the year since the NU/OU match-up in 2001.

You're welcome man!

And I agree entirely with everything you just said.
