Nebraska will practice on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings in the spring. Morning practices are a major change for the Huskers. They haven't used such a format in the spring for at least 30 years.
"Hopefully we can get all the kids' (class) schedules to where we can do it in the mornings in the fall," the coach said.

Spring Schedule:
First Practice: Friday, March 16, 6-8 AM
Practices will be Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30-10:05 AM from March 27-April 19
Saturday practices on March 31, April 7 & April 14
Last Pre-Spring-Game practice on Friday, April 20, 4:30-6:00 PM
Spring Game - Saturday, April 21 @ 11 AM
Final Spring Practice - Monday, April 23
Notes:
Tuesday/Thursday practices are earlier than they did at UCF but they're trying to go early enough to not have too many class conflicts. Still working on what they'll do in the fall.
Other schools have had a "clean-up" practice after the Spring Game but Nebraska has not. Gives a chance to go over what happened in the Spring Game. But it sounds like the main reason for it is the timeframe between Spring Break and April 21. Frost wanted the Spring Game on April 28 but couldn't get it to work. So they had to have one practice before Spring Break and one practice after the Spring Game to make it work.
