I am pretty convinced our LB's to start the year will be; Santos, Anderson, and Afalava.

Pelini pointed to the play of linebacker Jared Afalava as a surprise over 15 spring workouts. The head coach said the redshirt freshman was probably further ahead than NU anticipated and has picked things up quickly.“I think he’s going to be a very productive guy for us,” Pelini said.

JP says almost all jobs on D still truly up for grabs. Named only Evans, Ankrah & Santos as guys who it's safe to assume will have roles.

I would venture to say that Zaire can be added to that list.

He better be, that's my dude.

I fully expect him to hold down a spot.
