doubt it.Ucla was largely a grassroots movement and I'd say 75% of the stadium came through. A more organized promotion could get it to 90 pretty easily, I'd guess.

They returned 500 out of 3800 (not most. That means at LEAST 1 in 12 are Husker fans) and StubHub is a whole lot cheaper for this game than UNL....I heard NU fans would fill in one-fourth of the seats in Bulldogs stadium (a.l.a. Notre Dame in 2000). Unfortunately Fresno St. is red color too. Best solution: Corn ear hats wearing Bulldogs stadium.
We returned most of our ticket allotment so I doubt it.
For a few years we were inundated with black-out (hereafter BO) threads. Inevitably, they included the "suggestion" that the team wear black uniforms. The, shall we say, younger more callow members would only say that it would look "cool" and would be "intimidating". The far wiser, more mature, and more intelligent among us would point out that, first, black isn't one of the school colors and therefore would be ridiculous looking and second, that if wearing black was so intimidating EVERY team that wore black WOULD WIN EVERY GAME - which obviously doesn't happen. The threads would quickly degenerate into flame wars with the kiddies on one side and the intelligent members on the other, along the lines of traditionalists verses idiots. So, partially to stem the tide and partially because it appealed to his warped sense of humor, Eric banned the BO word. It worked, mostly. No one ever saw a reason to remove it.What is the story on how b******* became censored?
Uh, 75% of the stadium decidedly did not wear black for that game.Ucla was largely a grassroots movement and I'd say 75% of the stadium came through. A more organized promotion could get it to 90 pretty easily, I'd guess.

Landlord, while they are sponsored by the athletic department, you're incredibly ignorant if you think that just because they are backed by the AD that they are a visible brand. I explained to 10+ students last week what "the iron N" was and represents. They and their influence isn't as large as you think it is on campus.Lyons is wrong on two accounts.Uh, 75% of the stadium decidedly did not wear black for that game.Ucla was largely a grassroots movement and I'd say 75% of the stadium came through. The UCLA game was endorsed by the official student fan organization (The Iron N) as well as the players, but was also only directed towards the student section. The student section was indeed a "successful" black out, and the rest of the stadium was surprisingly, although still not anywhere close to entirely, clad in black. No doubt it had more to do with the alternate uniforms than anything else, but I was surprised at how many non-students were wearing black.
HORRIBLE IDEA!Inevitably, they included the "suggestion" that the team wear black uniforms.
Pretty horrible. The uniforms almost looked as ridiculous as the team did that day.HORRIBLE IDEA!Inevitably, they included the "suggestion" that the team wear black uniforms.

As far as a b******* or not. A night game is not a horrible time to do it, with the presumption it will happen, due to not being during the middle of the day and hence our team being hotter then heck due to wearing all black in late summer / early fall...
