Tailgate party - setup, etc

Are you guys gonna need some help setting up? What time do you think you still start setting up and, more importantly, start enjoying 12oz easy to carry adult beverage canisters? :lol:

I should be able to get there as early as needed, but depending on if DJR and I and the wimminz are going to carpool.

 
We will probably head down there about 9:30. You guys are more than welceome to come as early as you want, but we should have plenty of help setting up. Also dont feel obligated to drag a big cooler all the way over - we should have plenty of beer for you guys, I just didnt want to open that up to everyone b/c it could get out of hand.

BTW, do you happen to know anyone who has one of those "washers/chinese-horseshoes/cornhole" games? Eric has a Snakes & Ladders, but the person who I thought we would get the other game from isnt going to be availble, so we are looking for a backup. Other than that just bring your drinking hat and be ready to get after it!

 
I believe thats the same as the "snakes & ladders" game Eric has, so we probably wont need it, unless you guys want to have a second one.

Hey Dave, I found out from Eric that the game he has is kinda busted up and not really functional - kinda like him - so would you still be able to bring yours? But if it will be a big PITA to carry, dont worry about it.

I think I can manage it. You think it would be possible to drive to the tailgate site to drop some of this stuff off? I think DJR is going to bring a cooler and probably doens't want to lug it down O street. :)

 
I'll be there in spirit, so save a tube of processed meat on a bun for me.

I hear ya there. And unfortunately I dont think it will be possible to drive to the lot without a pass - thats why Im not going to be able to bring the Washers game - b/c theres no room in the truck that has the pass, and the fu&*#r is too damn heavy to carry. But you can always just try to get as close as possible - maybe drop a couple people off in front of the Rec Center area - if you can get that close with the clusterf#@k of traffic. If you want to follow us down there maybe we can coordinate our approach - but I think we're gonna leave a littel earlier than planned - maybe around 9 - b/c I want to hang some flyers up in the dorms. So if you dont mind leavin that early, youre welcome to caravan. :wasted

 
That's cool.I think we are just going to try to get as close as possible to drop the stuff off, then go park the car. We are planning on leaving here at like 10AM. We should get there before 11.

 
But seriously just as a reminder you guys dont need to bring anything unless you have something extra in mind - and feel free to show anytime from 11 or so on. we'll have plenty of beer & eats for the mod squad and your crew.
