Tangent Thread - Lifetime Edition

I am so sick and tired of this trivial stuff!!  I really respect the moderators here and they do a wonderful job on this board and I personally don’t think that they get thanked enough for the great job they do!  I want to personally take the time to “thank” the moderators for all you do!”

I trust their judgement in what they want to do...leave it or not move it!  Shaking head when it comes to members griping about posting threads, where to post them etc.  This is suppose to be a fun board!

Tom RR already made a decision on this as the question has been asked before. I checked and it is adding very little to the server load since the songs aren't loading on HB.

Did you read the OP? Different topic. Your suggestion is like only having one thread in the football forum because all threads there are about football.

What I like about the "Going to do this" thread is that it is so non-specific. I mean literally anything could be posted here and it would be "on subject". Sure, so far, it's been primarily about 1200+ music videos but I don't think we've begun to see the potential of what it could be.

Thanks for checking the server load Toni. That's going above and beyond to sort this out.

I think Tom RR's explanation may Change just a bit in the couple of months since he was asked about it, especially since Roxy was kind enough to explain that this is just music she likes, and that anyone could post in it. After that explanation it's pretty clear this is the same as the original thread, and past practice has been to merge similar threads.that way Roxy could easily see what everyone else is posting, as she says she wants to see.

 
This isn’t a song or anything but this fight scene is sexy. I’ll start posting movie clips in this thread because “I’m going to do it”! Seems fitting for the thread title

Do you have a hard time sleeping at night because of this thread? 

If you don’t like a movie that’s showing than don’t watch it. If you don’t like a restaurants food than don’t eat there. That same logic applies for this thread. If you don’t like this thread than don’t visit it

The mods have already voiced where they sit on this thread. Move on

 
In virtually every other thread, in every other forum, with every other poster, if someone’s posting behavior is annoying, or if they do something dumb, or if they violate basic etiquette, it is totally normal and acceptable for someone to call them out and have a discussion about it (as long as the rules are followed).

Yet everyone tiptoes around Roxy’s posting behavior and any feedback is met with histrionics. Why? Are we allowed to talk about it?
