You'll have to ask the liberals on Twitter that question. It is easy, impossible not to even, to root for the USWNT, but somehow their success became a referendum on the men's team, conservatives, and everything in between. A bizzare day on the Twitter machine. It seems there is no cause that we can ALL get behind anymore (and that's a left and right issue).

Guys if you want to have this conversation take it to another thread.
This article brings up a HUGE point. Our offense has been fumbling, throwing interceptions, acting gay etc.... yet on defense we almost never strip anyone, hit hard enough in the right spot to cause a fumble, etc. Its long past time for our defense to start hitting people when and where it counts, strip the ball, punch it out, hip thrust it out, bite it out heck idc, just force the ball out and put some people on their a$$!!

Its really simple El Straino, you gotta hold onto the ball, be wise with your throws. When it comes down to hit, you either are getting put on your a$$, or your doing the putting on the a$$. Weve been getting bent over and put on our a$$ for years. Time to put some people on their a$$!

I didnt mean anything seriously. I apologize if anyone took it that way. It was just a poor choice of words to describe us not playing very tough. I admit it was stupid, at the same time i think its stupid how seriously some people take every single word in this time. Should be pretty obvious i didnt mean homosexuals. Hopefully we can all enjoy watching the huskers put some people on their a$$ this year...
