Tangent Thread - P&R Edition

Very quick way to gather some of the cnn fake news stories without researching them all 1 by 1. I remember most of these.

they quoted a Harvard university study-are those guys credible?

What news sources do you trust, is what I'm asking. Where do you get your news? What news do you watch? What news do you read? What news do you trust?

Very true. The mainstream media, have little credibility with most free thinking Americans. The alternative media’s record isn’t consistent either. So many of us are so skeptical now we don’t know who to trust for our information.
Ahhh...that's right.  You have to be an enlightened free thinking human being to be able to see the light.

Or....those people have fallen for the BS crap that everything that is reported is fake news and so they have been lead to believe they shouldn't believe anything....except the people who are telling them to not believe anything they see.

I vett most of the stories I pick up using the internet to cross reference it with other sources. I like to pick up the original local media source. I still get my daily Omaha world herald and Wall Street journal.

Then of course my twitter , Facebook and Reddit feeds which you can get lost in

i only watch 1 hour of news/ commentary per night, I channel flip from fox to cnn to msnbc. You can’t trust cuomo, Maddow  or  hannity. But I do like Carlson .

So, a bit of Fox News in there for cross-referencing. Ever worry about their bias, or just CNN's?

I’ve stated many times,  that not all or even most of the main stream media is fake

whst I clearly stated was some of it was, so you have to question it all. One of the main culprits is what they decide to cover and not cover, it’s laughable how much or little attention they pay to things based on their narrative.

I’m no trump fan, I think he’s an egotistical blowhard that isn’t very wise about how he conducts himself. However the vile hatred he is shown, the piling on and never giving him credit for anything is just too much. I despise the guy, but seriously considering voting  for him out of spite this time because of the bias.

I would refer to my post where I stated I vett anything that is important to me and that I don’t trust many of the pundits including hannity, he is unwatchable. I have to keep my gag reflexes in check for maddow and cuomo when I surf.

Yes fox is the only big  news source on the right, so if people are trying to get a variety of sources you would think they would access the only source on the right. The left has overplayed that hand and gone too far- I thought trump had zero chance, but there seems to be a backlash happening a bit. Who knows, it might have some traction, my goodness there was crying and gnashing of teeth last time, maybe this time dinero really follows through and does move lol

Fox is not the only news source on the right. And they are heavily biased. But it's weird that CNN is the only one taking flak here.

Just so, so weird.

Huffington post- Yay or Nay?

Fox is the only large right slanted news source on basic cable. The rest of the sources are very fringe. They pale in comparison to cnn, msnbc, abc, nbc, cbs, New York Times, Washington post  etc

Cnn is so easy to bring up, because of all the bias examples. They do some good work, but some of it is so over the top left it’s laughable. Jim Acosta is a joke
