Tangent Thread - P&R Edition

This is a big part of it for me. Not only did he not have hindsight, he also didn't really have any way of discerning if it was or was about to get physically violent (probably until it's too late).

He didn't know anything was happening until the instant it happened. And from people who were in the building, it all happened very, very fast. Like a few minutes.

Combine that with the accepted rumor that Osborne told Frost more than once to stay away from her and I would've hid too, at least to start. And from that point forward who knows what's happening out there.

I've never heard this rumor.

I never heard this police report about Scott Frost and another man pulling McEwan away from Phillips after he'd beaten her.

For as along as I can remember, even in this thread, there was mystery, speculation and judgement about Scott Frost's actions that night. Assumed Benning would have been aware of this, too. Or maybe he has a separate beef. I haven't heard any of Benning's specifics.

If Frost intervened and separated McEwen from Phillips, end of story. Frost did what he needed to do.

But some of the anti-Mickey crowd can’t just come out and say “he’s black” as a reason (as much as they want to) so they come up with unreasonable expectations and incoherent comparisons instead.

And yeah, I’ve heard from certain members of the fan base (that think because I’m a 2A guy I’m automatically in the MAGA camp) who find it unacceptable Nebraska would hire a black man to be it’s (interim) head coach.

It must suck for the bigots that Antonia Okafor Cover is about the most important 2A voice in America. Haha.

I think he is saying you can't complain about Urban cheating if you voted for someone that did the same thing only he had to pay for it.

But there's an assumption there that a person with a brain, such as myself, would have voted for that pile of fast food burgers and other people's money calling himself Donald Trump, when in fact the thought never occurred to me or any other person with a functioning brain in the state of Nebraska.  Implying, of course, that the state of Nebraska has a problem with brain function.

I wouldn't much or any stock into anything that turd burglar posts

So he can be President of the United States,  just not a Major College FB coach.  Got it!
Used to be a time when neither was true, then one party completely abandoned their ideology and whored themselves out to a charlatan.

But yeah, the fact that Deion was front and center of the scandal doesn’t mean he should be a FBS coach because a tax-evading fraud ran for President—it means there should be higher standards for President than FBS coaches. Having someone that perpetrated academic and financial fraud in either position is unconscionable for most sane, rational people.
