What strawman?  You literally called out "douches" who object to the "trophy."  Only after I bring it up do you try and correct yourself.  It was a weak attempt by you.  Which isn't surprising.

Yes. When I read the post I thought it was snark against the AD, as they're the bad guys in this whole thing.

I don't know what that means as far as being weak (I'm weak? My reading comprehension is weak? Weak argument? What?), but that's how I honestly took it without second thought, and clearly I'm not the only one.

The tangent thread should be in the woodshed so people can properly be called out on creating these sorts of things. Good grief.

I'm leaning toward an offense that the guys can learn in the time allotted. The fancy pro offenses look great but we're never able to pull it off. Even Oregon's razzle dazzle offense of a couple years ago got smashed by the top teams. That's all.
