Word from the Georgia On3 guys is they'd still take Nelson's commitment, even though they already have two TEs in this class.

One of those TEs is rated higher than Nelson.

Talent consolidation in college football is becoming a major issue. Hopefully Nelson stays with Nebraska.

If he visits we have a fighting shot. I don’t think it was any coincidence that the in-state guy got offered and the kid from BV NW in KS.  I think they legit thought this one was in the bag. Hell I did too. 
 

that crystal ball was a Georgia inside similar to Schaefer or Bruntz. I’m not taking that as cannon. The inside info wasn’t very revealing. But I think Nebraska is neck and neck here.
