TE Tony Poljan [Central Michigan Commit]

I'd have to think TE. With the way these coaches are offering TEs I sure hope we learn how to use them.
You have a problem with how the staff used TEs?
Ya, not near enough. Did okay later in season but almost invisible through most of season. Although i do understand some of that is on qb too.
A lot of the early season problems were on him. He dropped some balls and his routes seemed to be off. I think as he learned the system he blossomed.

Really "usage" and ball distribution, a lot of that is on the QB. Think of all the times they either got Cethan open or had him as a checkdown, and instead Tommy went for it all.

Yeah, I'm still a little sore over that 4th & 1.

I loved their increased usage of the TE. I thought the play designs around them were good. QB has to use them though.

Also, we have a very good stable of WRs. So, it's not like there aren't other options to get the ball to.

Doesn't sound sold on playing TE but considering it.

Says he'll take all five OVs. Looking at Iowa State and Central Michigan for visits.

Shoot, with our depth at QB (rather, lack thereof), we ought to take Tony as a utility knife type player and give him a shot at QB. At the very least, he'd be able to see over the line.

If it doesn't work out, he could be a terror with his size and athleticism.

Oklahoma state just had a QB decommit yesterday, makes me think this offer is at QB and will be exactly what Poljan is looking for.
