Someone keep an eye on teachercd's status update. He basically calls me out for a shooting in Florida that I obviously had nothing to do with involving law enforcement and a black man just to see what I would say. That's trolling me at best and I'm not putting up with it, all I've ever done is try to educate some folks on this board and I get bagged on for it. I'll be taking an extended break from the board, I see cop hate coming across on some of these threads and I want no part of that. It's bullsh#t is what it is...........

 
I saw that status update as well and thought it was odd. I didn't really know if there was a history between you two in a thread about shootings or even which side of it he was on.

But the tone didn't seem especially friendly....

 
I can't say specifically that there has been an issue. I know in the past he's been vocal about some of this stuff and strongly opinionated about it at times. I just don't understand why I get called out by some people on this board. It shows the problems that this country is facing when people start taking this out on me, unfairly I might add when all I've done is try to put a different perspective out there. I'm disappointed with the tone from some folks in reference to this stuff on this board. It's obvious by his last response he's doing it to get a rise out of me.

 
He was clearly trying to bait you into an argument, and he admitted as much. It looks like he deleted the status update. However, I sent him a PM clarifying this action is detrimental to the board (and really to our society, but I guess we can't control that here).

I was going to give him a warning, but in the time between me reading his post and writing a warning message, it appears he deleted his status update without any formal request by us. I will assume this was a lapse in decision making on his part. Really classless though.

Sounds good, thanks, I need to stay away from the internet for awhile. The stuff out there is pretty bad, I'd delete my facebook account, but I've got a bunch of pictures I need to move over to a photo sharing site so I have access to them so I can print them at some point. Sad times that we're in that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure someone tried to ambush me the other night to try and kill me. Had a shots fired call, someone was standing in the middle of the road firing off a shotgun. Didn't find anyone after getting into the area, but I used more advanced tactics than your average patrol officer with my background so I'm guessing they thought twice about it after seeing me disappear into the neighborhoods under the cover of darkness. sh**ty feeling.............

 
Holy sh#t, BRI. Stay safe. Hopefully, some good can emerge from the civil unrest the US is currently experiencing, number one in my mind would be improving police-community relations.

I think it just fits into his pattern of being a serial troll -- but one who doesn't want to cross the line and get banned. Still, he'll try and get away with all he can. He should be on rather thin ice.

Yeah, teach has that tendency to get as close to the line as possible before backing away. It's annoying, honestly.

Also, stay safe, BRI. It's absolutely ridiculous that police officers (99% of whom are good, hard-working, people) are being targeted because of the acts of a few and the public's perception of those acts. I can't empathize with your situation, despite the all the officers I've spoken with, I have never been an officer so I don't know what goes into your training. I can though attempt to understand your (police officers') predicament though: you have such a small window, a window that could be the difference between life and death, to act, and I think the public really overestimating just how small that window is.

It's every where BRI. My son has had 3 close calls in the last 2 weeks where if he had not got immediate backup things would have been dire for him. Stay safe, my friend.

The title of the article mentioned that Hillary might be a man I don't know her gender for sure I'm assuming you don't know her gender for sure Correct? Just like I don't know Donald Trump tax forms for sure correct why is this an issue?

This wasn't me This was a respected journalist that literally made a title about that person's gender. If anything someone else to get the warning I think you know who it is,right?

The next one, as far as I'm concerned, is not going to be a light warning.
