Texans release Ahman

Ahman had an outstanding career with the Packers. He held it down in Green Bay for many years. Now that he's retiring, maybe he could be a part of Nebraska's coaching staff.

It's unfortunate to see him go out on a low note, but he was a heck of a football player. He was a man among boys his Freshman year in college. I'll miss seeing him play.

I think coaching could be very beneficial for Green. He'd be a hell of a running backs coach.

I know right, cause being a BUNNING back is hard as hell! Just busting your balls a little............. :thumbs

do you know how awesome it would be to have this guy even as a GA in the program?!?...bring him along w/ Beck on recuiting trips, and show some highlight films, then say.."This could be you"...BAM..."where do I sign?" :horns2

He is only 31 so I could see him playing forcj a couple more years but that would be sweet to see him as a coach. That would definitely help out in recruiting

:)

When LP messed up after 250+ yds against MSU, Ahman came in and filled his shoes.

Good luck Ahman, in anything you choose to do.
