Texas A&M Bolting To SEC Is Just A Matter Of Time

Last week, the Texas Longhorns announced a partnership with ESPN that will bring the school just north of $12 million a year for the next 15 years after partnership fees are shared. That money is in addition to the substantial sums of money Texas extorted from its Big 12 brethren during last year's conference realignment shakedown.

id lay money on it. Its no secret that the SEC has been trying to set up rivalries a la big ten style and has failed to find LSU a true one, that both sides care about equally.

LSU and Texas A&M have been rivals for years, and have great history.

A&M may follow the Nebraska example: "We can't compete with Texas, so we're leaving!"
actually, pretty much everyone is following the same example, especially texas. do whats best for yourself. if you can get it, grab it.

Bill Bryne had a nice quote on College Football Live......in a related note Dan Beebe was on to discuss the ESPN/Texas TV deal....sounded like quite a joke!
