Over. Basically no reason or benefit to fire him during the season - at least not for anything football related. But if things don't improve, the day after the season is over is a possibility. But this is still only year #2, right?

Mack Brown is available. I'm at least half-serious, not that it would be a good idea. But there are rumors for Jamail (their mega booster) wanting Brown for the AD job.

True enough. But these days I think Husker fans are a bit more humble than Whorns fans. That, and the title we won 18 years ago was our third in four years--the end of a pretty decent dynasty.
