Texas message boards are melting down

Can somebody log into the Longhorn message board and start a rumor that Bo is Texas bound. I'd do it myself but I'm on my way to a bachelor party.

shaggy has an awesome realignment thread, some okay game threads, and then about 40 for yelling and cursing about Mack Brown. If the owners get paid even a penny for each post, they are salivating right now.

Not even a blip on the radar. Too bad. Maybe next time we start a rumor page on HB, then link it on the Texas board. Might give it more credibility. Although, the trainwreck of ugliness that would occur on HB might not be worth it, IDK.

Someone please go over and post "As long as he's not black" relating to their next coach. Lets see how many of those redneck racist sh!theads agree with it.

Jon Gruden doesn't belong on college sidelines -- he's a myth

<snip>

But if I'm the AD at Texas or Ohio State -- or Notre Dame or USC or Miami -- I'm not hiring a maybe. You know who hires a maybe? Kansas football hires a maybe. UConn football hires a maybe. A school that doesn't have the money to hire a "definitely" is a school that takes a chance on Jon Gruden. A school desperate to upgrade its football program, hoping to distract rich boosters and skilled recruits with something sizzling, hires the guy out of the Monday Night Football booth and hopes for the best.

A school like Texas? Like Ohio State? Schools like that don't hope for the best. Schools like that hire the best.

And with the exception of then-Miami AD Kirby Hocutt, who targeted Gruden back in 2010, AD's at big-time football schools know that. In the realm of Miami football, you know who would have been impressed in 2010 by the hiring of Jon Gruden? The most vapid boosters. The silliest high school recruits. Kirby Hocutt. And that's about it.
