What's wild about Slusser complaining that Fleming is a danger to players across the net is, Slusser is the Setter. If Fleming is too dangerous, don't set her.

But Slusser does, to the tune of 717 attack attempts for Fleming this year alone. After Slusser found out Fleming is transgender.

And when Fleming gets a kill, guess who's in the huddle high-fiving Fleming and celebrating the point? Slusser. It's clearly not about safety. It's political, and performative.

And that article is correct. Beason, Jackson and Murray, off the top of my head, hit harder than Fleming. For sure Skinner from Texas does. Londot from Ohio State, Franklin from Wisconsin, Babcock from Pitt all hit harder. If anyone's watched an SJSU match, they're not particularly good, and Fleming does not stand out as a player.

It's pretty common knowledge at this point. There were several articles that named her while discussing the forfeits, and she's named in Slusser's lawsuit.

Here's one of the articles, which quotes Slusser's absurd claim that Fleming hits the ball upwards of 80mph.

I don't. Kids and "kids" aged 15-25 are too immature to be making decisions like that. I'd even say 15-30. If it were all legal they would be destroying their bodies even more, to try to make it. It would be cutthroat out there, and the ones willing to put the most s#!t in their bodies would be the ones who "win" but only temporarily. The rules make things fair, but I believe they also protect athletes. But weed being an illegal substance in sports is stupid.

But is she for sure even trans.  The articles I found just said there was a rumor in the locker room from overhearing conversations.

Most kids never play a varsity sport and even less play a college sport, but those small majority get tested for something as stupid as testosterone?  

No, that is stupid.  Steroids should be 100% legal and while on the topic, antibiotics should be sold over the counter.  

As far as all drugs being legal?  I mean, I really don't care either way, my guess is most kids that vape one day would not be like "Oh man, that vape was awesome yesterday, should get get some fentanyl today?"  But I totally get the concern. 

But roids should be 100% legal.  And there should be no testing for players just like there should be not testing for people at work.

I'm not going to debate you on the "steroids for everyone", but I gotta push back on OTC antibiotics.  Those things are already way over prescribed and it's going to suck when they no longer work because of it.

They work for me!  But I have not used any in a long time.  

I just like the idea of things being easy for people.  I guess I would be shocked if people were buying antibiotics if they did not actually need it but I could be wrong.

They work for you as long as you have an infection that isn't resistant to antibiotics.

I still think it's a complex issue worthy of thoughtful consideration. What I recently learned is that the various sports governing bodies -- I think the NCAA is among them -- do have testosterone testing for women athletes. Transitioning females significantly lower their testosterone and increase their estrogen levels as part of the process. They do lose some of the biological advantages attributed to gender. I mean, Doug Flutie is also playing God when he takes Nugenix.

If the floodgates do open, we may be on the slippery slope to doubling the number of transgender female athletes, an eye-popping .015% of total participants. 

San Jose State is currently ranked #115 in the country.

I think there has to be some way to work this out, and do not condone the hysterical response from the right. But, it is a larger issue than you present above.
