Rex played some QB in highschool. However, how do you think he would fare against T-mart.

Speed: Rex has a faster high end speed but Taylor has slightly better acceleration... But the cut back Rex made this week. In the second half where he stopped on a dime behind the line of scrimage to avoid a defender was amazing.

Edge: Even

Vision;Rex seems to read coverage and holes well. Despite not having as many home run runs this year, he also has less carries. Taylor stares down receivers and forces the ball into coverage.

Arm Strength: Taylor has underthrown a lot of balls this year, but we have no film of Rex. However, we have seen Rex's steel stiff arm. I'm going to have to give this one to Rex for being able to man handle and move 220 lb linebackers with a single arm.

There you have it. I am pleased to announce our SDSU woes are over. Rex will move to QB and run the tables. Aided by a unknown TE, Zac Lee, the Huskers will win every game.

 
It will be interesting to see how the QB competition shakes out between now and the K-St. game. If we get the same play out of Snuffy and Green as we did against SDSU, we lose in Manhattan. Do you guys think we would have won more games last year with this year's Snuffy?

 
Rex definitely has a better arm. I have heard that when he throws the ball, it's going so fast it creates a sonic boom...and that's when he's not even trying. For him to not be at the QB position...well, it's obvious these coaches don't know what they're doing.

 
There's a reason the entire Harvard football team watches sports center looking for Rex's highlights. Not even a Harvard degree can teach you to be that good.

 
the word is Rex cant be QB, because often times he'll throw the ball around the earth, striking himself in the back of the head. maybe we could work that into a designed play, where Rex launches the ball, runs into the endzone, and catches it upon reentry. i'll talk to Wats next time im over there to check the pH in his pool.

 
Rich, I think you're mistaken for what the real reason was. I heard Patrick Witt's thesis at Yale is entitled, " The Quantum Quarterback Mechanics of Rex Burkehead, how a white guy defies the laws of nature"

I heard Witt transfered to escape the inevitable benching in favor of Rex at QB ;)

 
Meh I dont think that we know who's faster,I'm just going to say that they are both fast and I am going to leave it at that.
