I'm not familiar with the O-line depth/recruiting.
Anyone have a clue of how the O-line may shape-up like next year. IMHO, Farmer and Gates where the only players that consistently held there own. Any potential RSFr, that can snag a job? Any potential incoming freshman that could contribute early?
It's no doubt that the O-line play was not up to par whenever playing against competent opposition; I'm just hoping that there is legitimate signs that could lead to improvement next season on this front.
We should be in pretty good shape next year.
As you mentioned, I think Gates and Farmer will be very good. Also Foster would have been right there with them this year without the injury.
I think John Raridon (RS this year) will likely take over at center - son of a Husker OL. And Matt Farniok (RS this year) will have every chance to start at the other tackle. That would be my guess on the starters as of now.
We'll also have Michael Decker (RSFr this year) and Bryan Brokop (RS this year) to help on the interior. So I think we'll be in good shape there.
Conrad will still be in the mix at tackle but we still thin (depth-wise) at tackle.
